Job Description
The Village of Huntley, a vibrant, growing community of approximately 30,000 residents located in southern McHenry County and northern Kane County, is seeking applicants for the position of Meter Technician in the Public Works Department. Under the general supervision of the Chief Water Operator, the Meter Technician’s primary responsibilities include installing, inspecting, and maintaining water meter reading equipment and reading water meter reading devices throughout the Village. Essential job functions require direct interaction and inter-departmental cooperation with Finance and Development Services Department.
