Convenient and Complimentary Transportation to PWX 2025

Are you traveling to PWX 2025 from the suburbs this August? We’ve got you covered! Say goodbye to downtown parking fees, rising gas costs, and stressful traffic. The Chicago Chapter is pleased to offer FREE shuttle service from major Metra and CTA stations directly to McCormick Place. Enjoy a relaxing train ride and then board an air-conditioned coach bus that will take you straight to the conference. Return shuttle service to transit stations will also be provided.

In addition, shuttle service will be available to and from the Get Acquainted Party at Navy Pier. Transportation will run between McCormick Place, APWA hotels, and the event. We’ll also offer convenient shuttle options for the many hosted events, including the Golf Outing, Brewery Tours, YP/International events, and more.

Shuttle Service from Transit Stations, 4 motor coaches:

Transit route shall operate continuously (every 30 minutes) in the time intervals indicated below between the following stops:

Start – McCormick Place, Lakeside Center, Gate 31.

Stop #1 – State & Lake CTA “L” Station, curbside on the northwest corner of State St. and Lake St., bus is going SOUTH on State St.

Stop #2 – Ogilvie Transportation Center, curbside on the northwest corner of Madison St. and Clinton St., bus is going WEST on Madison St.

Stop #3 – Chicago Union Station, curbside on the southwest corner of Canal St. and Jackson Blvd., stopping on Jackson Blvd. at Union Station Transit Center depot.

Stop #4 – LaSalle St. & Ida B. Wells Dr., curbside on the southeast corner of LaSalle St. and Ida B. Wells Dr., bus is going EAST on Ida B. Wells.

Stop #5 – Ida B. Wells Dr. & S Michigan Ave., curbside on the southwest corner of Ida B. Wells Dr. and S. Michigan Ave., bus is going EAST on Ida B. Wells.

Stop #6 – McCormick Place, Lakeside Center, Gate 31

Shuttle Times for four buses:

Sunday 8/17/25 thru Tuesday 8/19/25:

6:15 am to 12:30 pm.

2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

Wednesday 8/20/25:

6:15 am to 12:30 pm.
