Presentation Summary:

 

2024 Municipal Engineering Foundation Victoria (MEFV) Overseas Study Tour involves two Australian Local Government Engineers, from State of Victoria, travelling together with the aim of learning from local Authorities and related organizations in the United States and Canada.

 

Faina Levin is focused on how infrastructure can contribute towards a more circular economy. The circular economy is an emerging concept across the world and Faina intends to explore strategies for how waste reduction, reuse principles, and circularity can be embedded in public works infrastructure.

 

Trent Daisley is focused on brownfield road rehabilitation and reconstruction for end-of-life assets. Trent intends to investigate methods for repair and replace brownfield assets that minimize virgin materials and increased road livability and utility for road users.
